India's Youngest MBA Graduates - Neel Joshi and Deep

Neel Joshi, 13 and his brother Deep, 11, class eight and class six students of Thakur Vidya Mandir School at Kandivali East in Mumbai are on their way to become India's youngest MBA graduates as they have finished their first semester MBA with distinction from an institute affiliated to a U.S. varsity. The teen prodigies are pursuing their MBA from the Indian Management School and Research centre (IMSR) affiliated to the University of Northeast Virginia, reports Bangalore Mirror.
While Neel has cleared his first year in Finance Management with 91 percent, Deep has cleared the first semester of MBA in Operation Management by securing 75 percent.

It was a meeting with the representative of IMSR at an education fair, which helped them realize their dreams. "I had taken a risk in admitting the boys against all rules," admits Pravin Parmar, director, IMSR. "They have both scored very good marks and I am confident they will become the youngest MBAs in the country," he added.

"We had sought admission for MBA courses at the University of Mumbai and various other institutes in USA and UK. But everyone turned us down saying we were too young to enroll for management courses. They also told us we must approach them after post-graduation and gaining three years of working experience," says Neel.

Deep said, "I joined the institute but never worried about the results. I only aimed at studying management. My brother and I dream of getting a prize from President Pratibha Patil after we complete the course. I am also preparing for my MBA first year final exam which is scheduled in January."

The boys had exhibited extraordinary talents at their very young age. They could recite entire chapters from the Bhagvad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa and even the Rig Veda when they were in kindergarten. They have also shown their excellence in extracurricular activities such as carom in which they represent Air India at national level events. Neel wants to become a cardiac surgeon, while Deep wishes to be a pilot. The boys' father Ajit Joshi is a civil engineer.

Maximum pushups or dips set India Book of Record - Ronak Vitha

One of Aamir Khan's biggest fans, four-and-a-half year old Ronak Vitha, is planning to enter the India Book of Records by performing maximum pushups in a limited amount of time. Trainer Satyajit Chaurasia, who gave Aamir his spectacular body for Ghajini, is preparing the boy for this feat.

At it from two Satya (as he is fondly called by his star clients) relates, "When Ronak's parents came to me four months ago, he could manage to do 600 pushups or dips but now he can do 1,500 push ups in 49 minutes. He said he was inspired by Aamir in Ghajini and started doing pushups since he was two. Ronak told me that he wanted to train under me as I had trained Aamir. I was impressed and signed him on. He is my youngest pupil."

The young boy doesn't just want to have a body like Aamir, but also wants be the strongest child in the world. Satya adds, "Ronak wants to meet Aamir when he has time. He was inspired by his dips in Ghajini and started doing that as a baby. Now he's training basically stretching, hanging for flexibility, pushups and yoga asanas.

“I used to think that children can't do pushups but this little boy has shown me otherwise. In the last one year Ronak has grown 8 inches. He's flexible like Rubberman. He comes twice a week to my studio and works out for one hour and also takes lessons at home."

Like Aamir, he eats right too
Breakfast: Cornflakes and milk and after exercise he had an egg with multigrain bread.
Lunch: Roti, sabzi and daal
Evening snack: Brown bread chutney sandwiches and an egg.
Dinner: Roti, sabzi and daal.

Satya adds, "Like every child, he loves the usual chocolates and ice-cream. I give him a chocolate after every workout.”

Going for the records Ronak's father, Atul Vitha, says, "We have sent Ronak's name for doing the maximum pushups in the least time in the India Book of Records and we hope he makes it. He's inspired by Aamir and his Ghajini look and wants to be as strong as him. He wants to become the strongest child in India and the world.

Youngest twins break records to start secondary school aged Nine

Paula and Peter Imafidon broke world records when they passed A-Level maths at the age of seven.

And today, the nine-year-old twins will add to their list of achievements when they become the youngest ever pupils in Britain to start secondary school.

Having won places at 12 top secondary schools, they will join other nervous pupils and parents across the country waiting to find out whether they have offers for their chosen schools.

Councils will send out 540,000 letters to parents today - known as 'national offer day' - with details of which schools have accepted their children.

Last year, almost one in six 10 and 11-year-olds missed out on their top choice. Of the 546,744 pupils aged 11 allocated places at secondary schools, nearly 92,000 failed to get their preferred option.

This year, that figure is likely to have climbed to almost 100,000 pupils.

Peter and Paula, from Waltham Forest, London, dubbed the 'wonder twins', hit the headlines when they set three world records by passing A and AS-level maths papers aged seven.

They became the youngest candidates ever to pass an A-level maths paper, the youngest school pupils to pass the A-level maths paper and the youngest ever twins to achieve this level in maths anywhere in the world.

A year later they took and passed the University of Cambridge's Advanced Mathematics (FAM) paper, becoming the youngest students ever to pass the rigorous exams.

Their father Chris Imafidon said: 'We're delighted with the progress they have made.'

Last week, research by the Daily Mail revealed that one in every six pupils will miss out on a place at their chosen state secondary school.

Almost 100,000 pupils are likely to be disappointed when the allocated places are announced today.

World's strongest boy set world record

The world's strongest five-year-old is muscling in on a new record after performing a series of astonishing 'air' press-ups.


Romanian Giuliano Stroe - who has been trained by his gymnast dad Iulian since he could walk - stunned TV viewers in his homeland by almost doubling the current world record of 12.

The body-building youngster pulled off 20 of the special press ups - where the legs never touch the floor - before stopping.

Giuliano became a worldwide sensation after videos of his strongman feats became a You Tube sensation.

Last year, he managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records after performing a jaw-dropping handstand stunt on an Italian TV show.

He performed the fastest ever 10 metre hand walk with a weighted ball between his legs in front of an astonished audience.

Dad Iulian, 33, explained: "He has been going to the gym with me ever since he was born.

"I always took him with me when I went training. But he's still only a child and if he gets tired or bored we go and play."

World's Youngest Mother in the World - Lina Medina

Lina Medina, 1933 born in Ticrapo, Huancavelica Region, Peru is the youngest confirmed mother in medical history, giving birth at the age of five years, seven months and 21 days.

Medina was brought to a hospital by her parents at the age of five years due to increasing abdominal size. She was originally thought to have had a tumor, but her doctors determined she was in her seventh month of pregnancy.

A month and a half later, on May 14, 1939, she gave birth to a boy by a caesarean section necessitated by her small pelvis. The surgery was performed by Dr. Lozada and Dr. Busalleu, with Dr. Colareta providing anaesthesia. Her case was reported in detail by Dr. Edmundo Escomel in the medical journal La Presse Médicale, including the additional details that her menarche had occurred at eight months of age and that she had prominent breast development by the age of four. By age five, her figure displayed pelvic widening and advanced bone maturation.

Medina's son weighed 2.7 kg at birth and was named Gerardo after her doctor. Gerardo was raised believing that Medina was his sister, but found out at the age of 10 that she was his mother. He grew up healthy but died in 1979 at the age of 40 of a disease of the bone marrow.

World's youngest Living Mother Chinese schoolgirl sets world record

A nine-year-old schoolgirl gave birth, on January 27, by Caesarean section, to a healthy boy weighing 6lb (2.75 kilograms) - setting the world record for the Youngest Living Mother.

The unnamed girl was brought to a hospital in Changchun, which lies in the north-east of the country, when she was eight and a half months pregnant.

Her family - said to be from Songyuan in north east China - has refused to discuss the pregnancy but said they had reported it to police. In Songyuan, sex with a child under the age of 14 attracts a mandatory rape conviction and jail sentence, the Daily Mail reported.

Police were reportedly trying to find out who the baby's father was. A nurse told the City Evening News the girl "looked very mature" but it was not known how she had become pregnant.

In Shanghai, China's largest city, one hospital recently said that about 30% of abortions were carried out on school-aged girls.

China has launched a nationwide campaign to preserve the innocence of its children, banning any sexual content from the internet. Secondary school pupils are often suspended or expelled if they are suspected of having sexual relationships.

However, critics point out that there is a need for proper sexual education in order to combat the fast-rising number of teenage abortions.

Last year, a clinic in the central city of Chongqing was criticised after advertising half-price abortions for anyone with a student card. Advertisements for "Student Care Month" showed a schoolgirl wearing uniform, saluting and saying: "I am a student, I have special rights".

The Guinness world record for the Youngest Mother in recorded history was set by Lina Medina, a five-year-old girl from Pisco, Peru.

On Mother’s Day in 1939, when Lina was just under 5 years and 8 months old, her baby was delivered by cesarean section. It was a healthy 6 pound baby boy, and was named Gerardo after the doctor who originally diagnosed Lina’s pregnancy, Dr. Gérado Lozada.
In 1957 another Peruvian girl, aged nine, gave birth to a girl weighing just over 6lb and, curiously, it was in 2006 that yet another Peruvian girl, aged eight, gave birth to a 4lb 4oz girl. Several other girls aged nine, from Thailand, Singapore, Rwanda and Brazil, have also given birth. Mothers aged as young as 10 and 11 have also become an increasing occurrence.
