Aadhil,swam into Guinness world records with his limbs tied

Aadhil, a fourth standard student of Crescent Public School at Chaliyam, swam into Guinness world records with his limbs tied.

With this, he breaks the world record of Huang Li, the Chinese girl who swam for three hours to cover 2 miles in the Xiang River in 2007.

Aadhil, 10, covered the 2.87 miles in three hours and 48 minutes. The entire show was recorded for the scrutiny of the officials of Guinness Book of Records.

Block panchayat president Reena Mundengatt flagged off the sport.

Athik, father and trainer of Aadhil, tied his hands and legs. The swimming started at 9.37 am. Adhil undertook the risk conveying themessage “Coastal safety and employment security”.

Hundreds of people gathered on both the sides of the Chaliyar. In one hour and 55 minutes, he covered 2 nautical miles.

Aadhil swam for three hours and 48 minutes to cover a total distance of 2.87 miles to end up at Kodampuzha Kadavu.
