Kissan India’s favourite household brand for jams, squashes and tomato ketchups, from the house of Hindustan Unilever Limited, today created a fresh record which gains the brand an entry into Limca Book of Records. Kissan set a record by creating ‘World’s Largest Jammy Art’, prepared by 50 enthusiastic children over 2 hours, measuring 120 feet x 4 feet, created with jam and bread, at the NSE Ground in Goregaon, Mumbai.
“Kissan has been a heritage brand in providing happiness to millions of families. Jammy Art is an innovative attempt to let kid’s imagination run wild with foods. Children are creative and they showcase their creativity in many forms like painting, clay modeling, origami etc. In an attempt to bring forth their creativity using an interesting mix of food and jams, Kissan Jammy art was created. This is a huge milestone for the brand as we enter the Limca Book of Records with the creation of the Largest Jammy Art” said Mr. Harpreet Singh – Tibb, General Manager Packaged Foods, Hindustan Unilever Limited.
The event which was held on the occasion of Children’s Day and children across Mumbai came together and celebrated ‘their’ day. The brand kept its promise of a fun-filled Children’s Day – they enjoyed yummy food, tattoo stalls, art workshops, online gaming section which made their day a memory to cherish for a lifetime.
This Kissan jammy art carnival was held as a culmination of an online activity in which children created food art using the Paint application on the website. There were 4 themes put up on Jammyart.com with each theme being active for a period of 15 days. On Jammyart.com children could create and submit their drawings which would get voted by friends and family. At the end of the activity, 50 winners were short-listed for the final event. These proud winners from across the country were flown to Mumbai along with their parents to attend the Kissan Carnival and create history by making India’s largest Jammy art.
It was truly a Children’s Day out!
