Global Fuel Save Day - World’s biggest fuel economy class set Guinness world record by Quentin Willson
Yesterday I entered the Guinness Book of Records. Shell Global Fuel Save Day was the world’s biggest fuel-economy class.
In front of a crowd of 1,000 people, and hooked up with nine other countries as far away as Malaysia, I told drivers how simple changes to their behaviour – and using Shell FuelSave regular fuels – could save between £300 and £500 a year.
We Brits waste 1,800 miles worth of petrol finding car parking spaces, avoiding roundabouts and right turns, and eccentricities like driving 10 extra miles to avoid learners at a test centre.
