This month,  officials form Guinness Book plan to meet Trupti to verify her claims.

Elated over the bumper opening of her film, Trupti, who's made an amazing on screen transformation, said: "This is the first time a woman has done a complete body make-up.

In the past, for films like Chachi 420 or Paa, the makeup was restricted to the upper body and mainly the face. But in Agadbamb I have used entire body make-up to play a fat woman."

Inspired from Eddie Murphy's film, Norbit, where he plays an overweight woman, Bhoir decided to use Indian make-up artists, for the project.

"We always turn to Hollywood for help, but ignore the immense potential in our own country. I have worked with local artists and technicians for my film.

Anil Pengrikar has worked with me on the body make-up. It took eight to nine hours to get under the body suit which weighed around 250 kg.

I acted and danced in the suit. Physically, it was the biggest challenge. We'd start make-up around 3 am and finish by 11 in the morning," she said.

Talking about the prosthetics used, Bhoir said: "I didn't want to do a shoddy job by taking a short-cut. We used liquid rubber, cement, foam and plaster of paris to cover my entire body.

The challenge was to make sure that joints like elbows and knees don't remain exposed. The suit had to cover my entire body."

Happy that the public has loved her in the role of an obese woman, Bhoir said: "My film has made Rs 45 lakhs in just the first three days of release. Even in the second week, shows are going housefull. I couldn't be more thankful."
