They have been married for more than 84 years.
Herbert (born June 10, 1905) and Zelmyra (born Dec. 10, 1907) were maried on May 13, 1924.
They watch TV together but she departs when the baseball game comes on. They both agree if they had to do it again, they wouldn't change a thing.
Herbert and Zelmyra have five children, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides family, God and the church have been ever-present in the Fishers’ lives. They have maintained memberships at separate houses of worship during their marriage.
Despite separate church memberships, their hearts stay connected.
