Official European Street Fighter IV Champion Record


The Gamestation store in the Prospect Centre, Hull, UK, is going to be the site of an EPIC fight at an exclusive Guinness World Record event.

On Saturday 27th March, the official European Street Fighter IV Champion, Ryan Hart will be taking on all would-be challengers to break the world record of 108 unbeaten rounds on the BAFTA-nominated video game, Street Fighter IV.

European Street Fighter IV Champion, Ryan Hart, said: “I'm looking forward to breaking the Street Fighter IV Guinness World Record in Hull. You've played the rest, but come March 27th get ready to play the best!”

Gamestation store Manager Craig Huxtable said “We know that our customers are really hardcore players so Ryan better be ready for a tough day. For anyone who stops Ryan in his tracks, we’ll be giving away some cool prizes including an Xbox 360 Elite, a £100 gamestation gift card and some Guinness goodie bags.”

The event is for the launch of the new 'Guinness World Records2010 Gamers Edition' which celebrates all the gaming records set over the past year from the highest score on Donkey Kong to Guitar Hero Champions.

Adjudicators from Guinness World Records will be there to make sure the event is fair and to award the prizes.

Anyone over the age of twelve can enter. To break the Guinness World Record of 108 rounds, up to 120 contenders need to sign up to fight.
